NLSH Ramblers is a really friendly group, whose members all share a love of walking and the countryside. You’ll always receive a warm welcome from us, whether you want to walk with us regularly or from time to time.
A four-mile circular walk from Downe church with the option of visiting Down House, the home of Charles Darwin. The home is English Heritage and costs £15 if booked in advance or £17.50 on the day.
Take the 10.10am train from Victoria arriving at Bromley South at 10.26 am.
The 146 bus departs from Bromley South to Downe village at 10.41 which is a 20 minute ride away.
Freedom passes are accepted for the entire journey.
There are plenty of places for lunch or bring a packed lunch.
