Welcome to Kinross & Ochil Ramblers, a small friendly group with a wide choice of walks in stunning scenery, usually finishing in a good coffee shop or pub.
A long time since we had a little adventure so.... 9.04am bus from Kinross P & R to Edinburgh. Coffee in West End of Edinburgh then No. 44 bus to Balerno High School. An easy walk following the old Balerno branch railway line to Slateford. The walkway runs parallel to the river through Currie, Juniper Green & Colinton before reaching Slateford. Bus then back to town centre to catch bus home at 3.20pm. Bring packed lunch and bus passes.
