Overview

Starting from Hawes Pier, a short uphill stretch out of South Queensferry leads to the Dalmeny Estate, the rest of the walk being either downhill or flat.  Lovely views of the Firth of Forth and bridges and after a stroll through the estate we turn close to Barnbougle Castle to take the coastal path back to the rail bridge.
