Overview

We will head from the car park to Rippon Tor via the Nutcrackers. From there on to Saddle Tor, Holwell Tor and across to Holwell Lawn, where we may see the crocodile! Then several more tors, including Bel, Top and Pil, across Pudsham Down, and a final climb to the 10 Commandments on Buckland Beacon.

This is a strenuous moorland walk, with four steep ascents, a couple of steep descents, some rough and boggy ground, and one stile. On a clear day there will be some fantastic views of East Dartmoor and beyond.
