From the Tywi river below Dryslwyn Castle, enfolding autumnal woodlands embrace our progress as we climb to the vantage point of Paxton's Tower. Here, the majesty of the Tywi Valley below affords us glimpses of the brand new Tywi Valley Path as it seeks to follow the progress of the river.
Descending to the pretty village of Llanarthne, we find use of the new path now to convey us back to the castle.
