Overview

Starting 10.20am from Parc Cefn Onn amenity block to walk through Cefn Onn turn east through woods and fields to the top end of Draethen; then turn west through woods to the Maenllwyd.  Cross road and keep west on Cambrian Way before turning north to St James Church, Rudry, and then across fields before turning south west through the woods to Lisvane Quarry; then back down to the Ty Mawr and Cefn Onn.

Recommended that you should wear stout walking shoes – preferably boots.  The routes will be fairly muddy in parts, have one or two steepish sections and some rough / stony paths will be encountered.  We suggest you take a walking pole or two!

The Ty Mawr Barn will be available from 2 15pm and will cater for staggered arrival times for those who have pre-booked the tea/coffee and  selection of cakes.

Walkers need to carry In Case of Emergency information – this might be on a card, key fob or on their smartphone.
