Vindolanda, Once Brewed and Housesteads circular

This is a strenuous walk from Vindolanda passing the Sill Visitors Centre before joining the Hadrian’s Wall Path along the Whin Sill - the highest section of the wall - towards Housesteads. Views across Northumberland as the ground rises and falls on the edge of the north facing crags. Housesteads is the best preserved fort on the wall which we will have time to wander around. Return to Vindolanda is on paths and minor roads.
