A Summer stroll along the banks of the Severn, up the hill to Apperley and its beautiful pond for a coffee break, before a gentle return to the Red Lion via the Coombe Hill canal. If the Red Lion’s menu doesn’t tempt you, then the area outside the pub offers a grassy bank and a stony beach that are picnic perfect
