Join Andy on this second part of a double header around Sutton Park. Starting at the same point and time as part one, Andy's walk will be a 9 mile ramble around the park for those who like to walk a little further. The whole walk will be within the boundaries of the park exploring the trails and footpaths within. A varied landscape of scenery will be seen along with a herd of Exmoor Ponies.
Sutton Park covers a total of 2,400 acres and is located 6 miles North of Birmingham City centre. One of the largest urban parks in Europe it is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. The park has open Heathland, Woodlands, Seven Lakes and Marshes all with their own rich variety of plants and wildlife. All these add up to an interesting and enjoyable trip away from Coalville Ramblers normal territory.
