Overview

Walk followed by Christmas lunch at Wetherspoons, Ecclesall Road - see separate entry for details of lunch.

Catch the 120 Fulwood (not Ranmoor) bus at 9:55 from FS1 stop on Flat Street to Crimicar Lane/Brooklands Avenue. The walk starts at 10:25. 

The route takes us down the Porter Valley from Fulwood, passing Wiremill Dam and on into Bingham and Endcliffe Parks. From Hunter's Bar we head up Sharrowvale Road, down Toad Walk and through the General Cemetery and on to Wetherspoons at the bottom of Ecclesall Road.

There are public WCs at Forge Dam and Endcliffe Park.
