Overview

Limited to 10 people.  7.54 train from Basingstoke to Crystal Palace, change at Woking and Clapham Junction.  Arrives at 10.20. Or plan to get there by 10.30ish as there are other routes available.  Walk up to the Subway by 11am.  Walk back through Crystal Palace park and look at the dinosaurs and anything else we pass.  Coffee/lunch stop in the park cafe.  After a stop we will walk to the Bowie Bandstand in Beckenham via Penge.  Walk back to Crystal Palace station via South Norwood Country Park and Betts Park.  Approximately 9 miles.  About 3 hours walking and stops for snacks/drinks/lunch.  So plan for 4-5 hours plus travel time.  Options to leave early as there are a few stations/bus stops along the way.
