Starting out from Longiddry train station we join the John Muir Way. This is a scenic 13 mile coastal walk partly through dunes on good grassy paths. The route will take us through picturesque Aberlady and Gullane and the historic village of Direlton with its English style village green and castle. The scenery is delightful throughout and passes by some beautiful beaches. Our walk will finish in North Berwick which has a lovely little beach and harbour and there are pubs and cafes with some unique shops in the towns Main Street. From hear we’ll catch the train back to Edinburgh where we change for Glasgow.
meet in queen st station time 07-45 catch train to edinburgh 08-08 then at edinburgh get train to longniddry get return ticket from glasgow to north berwick
Meet 07:45 outside the ticket office on the main concourse of Queen St station, Glasgow. Buy a return ticket to North Berwick Train departs 08:08 for Longniddry
