Overview

A walk to Queenzieburn village, childhood home of Janette Tough (aka Wee Jimmy Krankie).  From the edge of Kilsyth, we will start along a short section of an old mineral railway line (known as Neilston Walk), then follow minor roads uphill and across to the west.  If the weather is fine, we will detour to the lovely Stoneree Glen for elevenses.  After the road heads downhill, we will turn east again along a historic path, Joe Moses Road, then another path to the edge of Queenzieburn, where a further path is followed back to the starting point.
