A varied walk with fine views in the rolling countryside of this lovely part of the Yorkshire Wolds. There are ascents and descents, some steep, and the walk is graded moderate plus. The route passes through the pretty village of Settrington, up to Wardale, along Bassett Brow and down to Thorpe Bassett. The return is along the Yorkshire Wolds Way up to Settrington Beacon, before a descent down Fizgig Hall to Low Bellmanear and Settrington.
There is a charge of £2 a car to park at Settrington Village Hall, which is collected on the day and taken to an address in the village. Please bring £2 in cash for each vehicle and give it to the Walk Leader (no honesty box at the Village Hall)
