A circular walk from Ravenscar on the Cinder Track, field paths, woodland tracks, quiet roads and cliff top paths.
Leaving Ravenscar in a southerly direction on the Cinder Track the walk heads to Hayburn Wyke with a short excursion to Staintondale. After Hayburn Wyke the route turns northwards alongside Hayburn Beck, where walking poles may be needed on a couple of steepish sections, especially if wet. Then, after heading to White Hall Farm and War Dyke the cliff top footpath is joined to return to the start.
There are a couple of awkward stiles on the second half of the route.
Ravenscar Tearooms are likely to be closed at the end of the walk but Raven Hall Hotel offers both liquid refreshment and more substantial meals.
No dogs except registered assistance dogs with the consent of the leader.
