Overview

A circular walk along footpaths through fields and woods and quiet roads from Swell Wood where the herons are currently nesting to Burton Pynsent monument. Onwards to Curry Rivel then returning via Drayton and Swell. There is one steep ascent to the monument and a few muddy places. Lunch stop at Drayton so please bring a packed lunch with you.
