Overview

Carol H. is arranging a day trip to the mainland.  This will a different day out which includes a boat trip to Keyhaven from Yarmouth, followed by a six mile flat walk to Lymington.

We meet at Yarmouth Quay near the lifeboat station/bus terminus on Saturday 30th September at 8.45am for the 9am privately chartered Keyhaven Ferry.

The sea crossing to Keyhaven will take 30 to 40 minutes.  The walk then passes nature reserves where you can spot a variety of wildlife, stopping for a picnic lunch (bring your own).  At Lymington there is time for exploring the town for tea/cake or ice cream.  It is market day, so there is an opportunity for some shopping.
