We are the North Dorset Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
No big hills.....but expect soft ground and some longer muddy stretches. Lots of views out across the Blackmore Vale. A mix of tracks, fields and an occasional minor road.
We will walk cross country to Fiddleford, Hamoon, Fontmell Parva and back to our cars via Child Okeford. If it any part is flooded then an alternative route on small roads is possible.
2 stiles, one early one late, neither too difficult.
The availability of seating means that coffee break is at half way point and lunch is at three quarters way around.

Park in the car park at the edge of the village, near the turning to Child Okeford, close to the bridge for the old Somerset and Dorset Railway. Beware that the car park entrance is tight. Please take care entering and leaving.
