Overview

A lovely walk along tracks and paths starting at Okeford Hill Beacon skirting the edge of woods along the Wessex Ridgeway towards the viewpoint at Shillingstone Hill, then through Blandford Forest for coffee before turning west towards Turnworth, then along Coombe Bottom below Ibberton Long Down, where we will have lunch.

There is one short fairly steep slope up to the top before returning back along the Wessex Ridgeway with glorious views across the Vale.
