Lunch: Buffet/sharing after the walk
From Bishops Caundle Village Hall we will head north towards Stourton Caundle along open tracks, shaded woodland paths and quiet lanes. A few gentle ups and downs plus a few stiles. Please bring a snack and drink to have during the morning's walk.
We will enjoy a buffet lunch in the village hall after the walk. Please bring a plate of food (savoury or sweet) to share (or your own lunch if you prefer not to share!) Food may be left in the village hall before the walk. Lunch will be followed by the North Dorset Ramblers AGM.
It seems that there is quite a sizeable proportion of our Walk Leaders who have not yet completed the Ramblers Online Training. As we are already short of Walk Leaders, it is imperative that those who wish to continue to lead are up to speed. It is something we cannot ignore.
The possibility of a group training session at the AGM was proposed, but for various reasons, this isn't possible.
What we propose, therefore, is ........
On a different subject, no-one has yet indicated any interest in the position of Group Secretary. It involves only three committee meetings per year, plus the AGM. Please get in touch if you are interested.
