We are the Ponteland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
After crossing the river Coquet, we head West, cross country, along St Oswalds Way, past Brinkburn Prioiry, to Pauperhaugh. We then turn north and east on the return leg to High Weldon where we will rejoin St Oswalds Way back to the start for a well-earned pint in the pub.
This walk can be wet and muddy so gaiters and a stick are recommended.
There will be a coffee stop en route.

We start at the Anglers Arms at Weldon Bridge, Longframlington, NE65 8AX. Parking is along the road next to the pub (droplet.internal.picturing) (NZ 13761 98586). DIRECTIONS – Take Berwick Hill road out of Ponteland, join A1 northbound, filter left off A1 after Morpeth exit onto Coldstream Road.
