Overview

Moderate with some hills. Some muddy paths if after rain. Bring poles if you use them.

Due to a more limited quantity of parking in Hale Lane, we will travel in a smaller number of cars from the Witchell Pavillion car park to Hale Lane  where there are a few rough roadside spaces.

We walk through a meadow with lovely views, and up to the Ridgeway Path, then pass The Crong to Bittams Wood to see the bluebells in Dancers End Nature Reserve. We then amble along some pleasant paths and quiet roads then back along the Ridgeway, then divert to see more bluebells on our way back to The Hale. There are some moderate hills. It is a lovely route, especially if we get some evening sunshine, which would also be good for photographs.

All are welcome to get a takeaway when we are back in Wendover. (Suggest from the George & Dragon for Thai Cuisine)

to eat together in Wendover Park (Witchell Meadow) after the walk (weather permitting) so please plan your order in advance and write it down clearly with your name (so we can order together, handing it into the restaurant before the walk), and bring cash / card for payment.
(Or alternatively, you could bring your own packed meal).
