Great walks and good company
Since our launch in 2006, our brand of sociable walking has made us one of the fastest growing Ramblers groups in the area. We now have around 400 members - mostly aged in their forties to sixties, but we welcome anyone looking for a friendly active group.
Our beautiful region offers varied walks taking in the Ridgeway, ancient woodlands, and attractive villages. Waterside walks in the Colne Valley, along the Grand Union Canal, or beside the Thames. Snowdrops at Christmas Common or bluebells on the Ashridge Estate.

We don't have any challenging mountains, but there are great views from our rolling hills.
Walk with us
Usually between 5 and 15 miles, our walks are mostly at the weekends, but in summer we also offer midweek evening walks. Many of our walks include a snack or lunch break and end with the option of a sociable drink at a cafe, tearoom or pub.

Our popular series of 'Boots, Banter and Breweries' walks are always a barrel of laughs!

Every September we celebrate our anniversary with a mini walking festival and a picnic, offering a series of walks all starting from the same place. There's something for everyone and it's a great opportunity to get together.
Weekends away
Our members regularly arrange walking breaks around the UK. Recent destinations have included the New Forest, the Brecon Beacons, and Devon.
