Overview

Starting in the Library Carpark in the village of Wendover, an undulating walk taking in the beech woods and downs of the Chiltern Hills.  Superb views along the way.  We go via Ellesborough, Pulpit Hill Fort, Whiteleaf Hill and Little Hampden Common before returning to Wendover.   The chalk downs can be slippery after rain so it is advisable to bring poles.  Bring a picnic.

We will pass the railway station at 10.35 to collect anyone travelling on the train from Baker street arriving at 10.30am.  Please let the leader know if you are travelling by train and keep me informed if there are delays.
