Overview

A spectacular circular walk from Coniston.  Starting from the main car park we ascend to the summit of Wetherlam and then onto Swirl How via Swirl Hawse and Prison Band.  From Swirl How, we move onto The Old Man passing Levers Hawse and skirting above Levers Water and Low Water.  We then return to Coniston for post walk refreshments.

This is a strenuous hill walk so please come equipped with correct clothing and boots for the terrain and weather conditions.  Also, please bring plenty of food and drinks.  In the event of adverse weather, a lower level alternative will be provided.  Sorry, no dogs.
