Walk Description:
Join us for a varied and rewarding 12-mile hike starting from Pool Bank car park in Bollington. Our route heads out towards Rainow, with fine views of the iconic White Nancy on Kerridge Ridge in the distance. We then continue on to Lamaload Reservoir, a tranquil spot surrounded by the hills of the western Peak District. From here, the path climbs Hooleyhey Lane up to the atmospheric Jenkin Chapel, a historic 18th-century chapel set in a remote upland valley.
Our return leg takes us through Harrop Wood before dropping back into Bollington, where optional refreshments await at the welcoming Poachers Inn. Expect scenic variety, gentle climbs, and plenty of Peak District character.
