Description
A 7 mile circular B walk in the Lammermuir Hills along clear paths and tracks linking Whiteadder reservoir and Priestlaw hill via the ancient Herring Road. Some parts may be muddy. Walking poles advised.

Please book by whats app message / text with your full name and mobile telephone number and indicate if you are meeting at Currie library or travelling independently to the start point.
Meeting
Meeting Point: Currie Library at 8.45am for 9am departure
Or meet at Whiteadder reservoir lay-by for 10am start.
Travel
Travel directions from Currie library. Travel time one hour approximately, depending on traffic.
Take city bypass – A720 through Sheriffhall roundabout to old Craighall junction joining the A1 east bound.
Take the slip road to Tranent -A199 – carry on through Tranent taking the Pentcaitland road – B6355.
At the Pentcaitland crossroads continue straight ahead on B6355 to Gifford. Continue through the village of Gifford and take the right fork at the church (B6355) on Duns Road. Continue for approx. 5.5 miles ascending into the Lammermuirs and follow road to the left on B6355 (Cranshaws) to the lay by parking area at the northern edge of Whiteadder for another 3 miles approximately.
