From Corbridge after crossing the bridge over the river take the second road off the roundabout for Hexham. Then take the first turning on the left signposted for Blanchland and cross the A695 and follow the B6307 for Blanchland until it joins the B6306 . Turn left on the B6306 still heading for Blanchland. After about a mile or so take an unnumbered road on the right signposted for Whitley Chapel. Follow this road until you reach Whitley Chapel about 2.5 miles. At the cross roads in the middle of the village turn right into Leazes Lane where there is parking on both sides of the road.
Unfortunately there are no toilets on this walk.
The walk goes through fields and woodland with no particularly steep inclines.
Some of the paths may be quite muddy so boots and sticks are recommended.
