Whitwell on the Hill. York Ambles

 From Whitwell we head past Whitwell Grange to Welburn, where we cross the road and continue northwards to join the Centenary Way, with good views of Castle Howard. We then pass the Four Faces monument and enter Pretty Wood, passing the 400 year old King Oak on our way back to Welburn. There is then a gentle climb past the church to Whitwell Road and back to Whitwell on the Hill.
