We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A local walk this week which starts in Wick and takes us across fields to Abson, then as Golden Valley nature reserve is closed at present, we will return to Wick via fields and quiet country roads.
There are several stiles and it is a bit up and down at the beginning of this walk. It is quite muddy so walking boots are essential and walking poles recommended.
As this is our last walk before Christmas we will be having a break for a Christmas Muffin and some mulled wine at Abson Church which has a large porch where we can sit and relax. Or you can bring your own drink and snack.
We can make the short drive to the Griffin pub, 107 London Rd, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JN for a drink after the walk.
