Overview

Starting from the New Inn car park we walk behind the houses, across fields, through a field of alpacas, and into Wapley Bushes Nature Reserve which consists of two meadows and a piece of ancient woodland.  We then circle back through fields and lanes to Westerleigh, a village which originated in Saxon times and is also mentioned in the Domesday Book. The Church of St James the Great dates from the 13th Century.

As we are using their car park, please have a drink in the New Inn after the walk.
