Overview

From Woodlesford, through Little Preston, Kippax, Hollinhurst and St Aidan's.  Using the Leeds Country Way until mid morning. then good tracks and paths (with a few short sections of road/pavement walking).  These connect 3 nature reserves managed by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust (www.ywt.org.uk) - The Lines, Town Close Hills and Hollinhurst Woods - and the RSPB managed reserve at St Aidan's (refreshments available at the Little Owl cafe).  Undulating walk, ending with a final stretch along the River Aire and canal.  Two possible lunch stops, both with picnic tables and just 2 stiles.  Some of the woodland sections may be muddy if we've had rain.  If you've experienced Leeds on a Saturday night, this walk may not be so wild!
