An invigorating eight mile walk in the glorious countryside around Winchcombe, going via Hailes, Farmcote, Sudeley Lodge and Sudeley Castle. There is one long, steady climb and descent, but otherwise it is pretty easy going and all on good surfaces. Its a walk with good variety and some stupendous views (weather permitting).
Bring refreshments for a lunch break.
(see weblink below for a map of the route)
Good paths and tracks throughout, plus quite a lengthy stretch on a very quiet estate road. Only a few stiles. Slight possibility of meeting some livestock, mostly sheep but just possibly some cattle. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads.
