Overview

Winter Hill, Quarry Wood and Cock Marsh Circular. A return to familiar territory which complements my previous walk on the other side of the Thames. In the course of the walk we will visit the poetically named Harvest Moon and Halloween. There are the usual views towards the Thames and Marlow with further vistas across the Thames from Winter Hill. The descent to Cock Marsh is very steep but can be avoided. Make sure to notice the burial mounds as we pass on our way to the river and the return to the car park. About 440 feet of ascent.
