This walk partially encircles Weald village; it is ideal for winter as much of it is on tracks.
However, there are, hills, stiles and fields to negotiate too. The Greensand Way section provides us with good views over the surrounding countryside.
Nibble break is in a recreation field, with the possibility of benches to sit on.
There is an opportunity to cut the walk short at St George's church. The route back at this point is down a minor road back to the village, so no navigating on paths required. This short version is 2.6 miles, and 272 feet of ascent, compared to 4 miles and 405 ft of ascent.
