We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from the pub we walk down the road to join the River Frome and will follow its bank on and off and then circle round to join it again at Hambrook to finish off our walk. There are a couple of quite steep hills to climb but they are very short.
If we have had any rain there will probably be quite a bit of mud along one stretch of the river which can be quite slippery and is very close to the river’s edge so bring poles if you have them.
We can all enjoy a drink in the Golden Heart after the walk.
Golden Heart, Down Road, Winterbourne, BS36 IAU. Please park in the overflow car park (on the grass behind the tarmac). If we use their car park we should have a drink in the pub after the walk.
