Overview

A lovely walk in the Winterfold Forest with plenty of tree cover to provide some shade.  The terrain is quite hilly and very sandy. Winterfold Forest is part of the Hurtwood, which is run by the Friends of the Hurtwood charity. There are over 60 miles of paths and bridleways and many more informal paths and tracks to explore.
