Overview

We walk to Ollerton Fold and then walk by the Canal.  Continue through Withnell Fold to Withell, and use the former railway line almost to Brinscall and then back to Whins Lane.

The first photo is of the Leeds Liverpool Canal near Wheelton.

The second photo is of the stocks at Wheelton. This is not the original site for the stocks, for they were moved in the late 1950s.
