Meet at Beech Lane bus stop (opposite Summerlee Close), Macclesfield, (915746) in time to catch the 391 bus at 9:30. Park in Riverside Park car park (free, toilets) and bring bus pass or fare. Take the bus to the Miners' Arms (Wood Lanes) arriving at 10:01 then walk back via Birchencliff, Bakestonedale moor, Gausie Brow, Rainowlow, Savio house and the Middlewood Way.
