Overview

We walk from the green at Wood Street Village past the cricket field and onto farm tracks, paths and bridleways across fields to Normandy. We walk around Normandy Conservation pond, across the Common through more fields with cows and horses. Some stunning views along the way.  Please arrive in good time to put on boots etc. and for registration.  Please let me know if you do not have an ICE (in case of emergency card) or information on your phone.

Recommend waterproof boots, poles and gaiters.  There are overgrown paths with nettles.  Some of the fields are boggy and muddy. There is a slippery brick bridge to cross and six stiles.  Cows and horses are in some of the fields.  Two busy road crossings and some minor road walking.
