A walk through plantations on the outskirts of Woodgreen and then back along an open ridge with views across the valley. No booking needed. Note earlier start time and no stops on this brisk walk.

From Salisbury take the A338 to Breamore then turn left, signposted Woodgreen, and follow the road until you come into the Woodgreen village. As you pass the pub turn right and continue up the hill to turn left at the top. The NT car park is on Hale Purlieu, on your right, about 300 m from the left turn.
