We are the Worcester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Another exciting opportunity to visit Worcester Community Gardens.
We start the walk from Perdiswell Leisure Centre car park (please park at the far end of the car park by the canal). The walk takes us along the canal towards the city centre and then on to Diglis Docks, here we will stop for a coffee break. We then join the footpath along the river severn and crossing the foot bridge we walking back towards town. Crossing the main road we head towards the race course and then along to the community gardens.
Our host Gill will take us on a tour around the gardens explaining the exciting developments of what has been going on since our last visit. Please feel free to ask any questions about the site or if you just want some gardening tips.
Please bring drinks and snacks.
Please come suitably dressed for the forecasted weather.
There will be fresh home grown produce on sale so save some room in your rucksack.
