Overview

A walk from Worcester Wood Country park through Nunnery Wood engaging the ‘Wild About Worcester Way’ into the City Centre.Arriving at Diglis Bridge we cross the Severn and venture up Bromwich Parade passed the weir with its Twaite Shad and the Swan Sanctuary. Crossing back into the City over Worcester Bridge we take in many of the Historic Buildings of Worcester with lunch in the Cathedral ground. Walking back to the country park via the Severn and Wild About Worcester ways.

 There will be a short break mid-morning and a longer lunch break so do bring drinks and a packed lunch.

This is a joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers.
