Overview

A steep ascent up Wotton Hill via Conygre Wood, then through Westridge Wood to the Tyndale Monument at  Nibley Knoll, with views over the Severn Vale. From there we head to Coombe Hill, descend into the valley at Coombe and follow the brook back to Wotton.

Meet at the bottom of Parklands, Wotton-under-Edge. Street parking available in Parklands or Culverhay. There are also car parks nearby at The Chipping and Potters Pond. If parking at The Chipping, ensure you use the long-stay section. If coming from the M5 or A38 follow the B4509/B4058 into Wotton. At the T junction, turn right then first left into Culverhay. Parklands is the first road on the left, just past the surgery and church. Public toilets are available at Rope Walk, near the bottom of The Chipping car park.
