We are the Southwold (Yate) Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A scenic walk taking in the countryside around Wotton Under Edge. From Wotton, we will cross fields to the village of Wortley, follow the Cotswold Way up Wortley Hill. On to Blackquarries Hill, then descend into Coombe. We will have lunch at Holywell picnic site, before ascending Coombe Hill. From there we will head to Wotton Hill, then back into Wotton via Conygre Wood.
A mix of woodland and field with two steep ascents, a few stiles and possible cattle. Expect mud if there has been recent rain.
Parking at the side of the road in Parklands. Meet 09.45 for a 10.00 start. Bring food and drink for the walk. There are cafes in Wotton for post walk refreshment.
