Overview

An anti-clockwise route from Horsehay pool to the Wrekin, climbing via a little used route before descending by way of Jacob's Ladders before returning through Little Wenlock and Coalbrookdale.

Although this iconic mound is only just over 1300 ft, extensive views should be available. Little Wenlock is a beautiful sleepy Shropshire village, and the foundries at Coalbrookdale were the crucible of the Industrial Revolution when cast iron railway lines were first produced here in 1767.
