Overview

Circular Walk in Farndale. The Daffodil Dale

On this walk we will be keeping to high ground for the first hour on a good track and moorland path across Harland Moor then downhill to Low Mill. We then walk North to High Mill and Church Houses where we join Daleside Road.

After a stretch of easy road walking we take field footpaths to Rawson Syke before continuing south on an ancient lane over Thunder Head Hill to Dale End Bridge.

We now walk uphill to Park Farm then south and east for a climb back to the car

The path from Oak Crag to Duck House has wall and ladder stiles, there is rough walking and soggy fields

Lovely views all day!
