The Northumbria Longer Walks Group was set up to give members of any Ramblers Group in the Northumbria Area ( and visitors) the chance to do a longer walk than those currently offered by the majority of those Groups.

We walk between 13 and 17 miles, once a month. Walks are always on the last Saturday of each month ( apart from December), starting at 10 a.m, and usually finishing between 4 and 5p.m.

The monthly walks will be listed below, but if you have any enquiries or need any more information, please email the Group Walks Co-ordinator, Neil Allender , at neilallender@yahoo.co.uk or ring 07531848670

Campaign with us - protect the places we walk

Walking is a simple pleasure that should be open to everyone, so we campaign to remove barriers to walking and we protect the places we love to wander.
