Our group covers a large area of fantastic walks from Ayrshire to the North, the Mull of Galloway, with the most southerly spot is Scotland to the west, the awe-inspiring Galloway Hills to the East and the picturesque woods and valleys of Kirkcudbrightshire to the South.
We mostly walk on Saturdays, and our walks range from very easy for our elderly members to challenging for our fitter walkers. We traipse over farmlands, forestry paths, and higher hills on deer and goat tracks, where we need to beware of the tussocks! We experience fabulous views from our highest peaks to tumbling waterfalls, wild flowers, and empty beaches. We are fortunate to see an abundance of wildlife on our meanderings, ranging from Red Kites, all makes of deer, dolphins, not to mention adders and midges. We are truly blessed.
You are welcome to join us – we enjoy showing off our unspoilt countryside to visitors.
