Overview

Join Our Newton Abbot (Decoy Country Park) Walks – Refresh Your Mind & Body!

Step outside and reconnect with nature on our friendly, guided Wellbeing Walks. Whether you're looking to boost your mood, meet new people, or simply enjoy some fresh air, these walks are a gentle way to improve your health and wellbeing.

Our weekly Grade 1 walk of 20-60 minutes takes place in the beautiful Decoy Country Park, usually along the blue trail around the lake. Most weeks close with a cuppa. This walk is tailor made to include pauses to take in the scenery, flora & fauna, or to simply rest for a moment. Sociable walks are at the heart of Walk This Way Wellbeing Walks. All wellbeing walks take place in local Teignbridge district areas, often taking in open spaces, parks, woodlands, and nature reserves.

Further recommendations and walk information:

Please arrive approximately 10 minutes ahead of walk start times especially if you are a new walker to the group. We recommend wearing sturdy comfortable footwear. A Walker Registration Form will need to be completed before taking part in the walks, either in advance or at your first walk. We suggest walkers carry an ICE card (In Case of Emergency) with information to include your name, your emergency contact name, & their contact number, and any of your medical conditions you wish to share. We provide you with one of these to complete.

If you have any questions about the walk, please contact Louise on 07852994622
